MTG: The Hobbit Pre-Release Event Ticket (Friday Evening)

Magic ventures into Tolkien's Middle-earth! The Hobbit brings Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, Thorin Oakenshield, and Smaug the Magnificent to the battlefield in the first Tolkien-universe set legal in Standard. Assemble your company, brave the wilds, and face down a dragon in Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit!

Be aware you are purchasing an event ticket, not a physical product. If you are unable to attend the event, the event ticket purchase price will be refunded as store credit to the account that purchased the ticket(s). You will be UNABLE to come in before or after the event to take home a physical pre-release box.

Event Details

• Entry Fee: $40
• Start Time: Friday, August 7th @ 6:00PM
• Format: Sealed Deck (build a 40-card deck from your Prerelease Pack)
• Structure: 3 Rounds of Swiss-style play

Your Prerelease Pack Includes:

• 6 Magic: The Gathering® | The Hobbit Play Boosters
  Each Play Booster contains 14 Magic: The Gathering cards
  • May contain these cards: HOB 1–248
  • 1–3 cards of rarity rare or higher (2: 26%; 3: 2%)
  • 3–5 uncommon cards
  • 7–9 common cards
  • 1 land
  • 1 card of any rarity is traditional foil
• 1 traditional foil rare/mythic rare card
• Spindown™ life counter

Prizing & Rewards

• At the end of the event, when all rounds have been reported, we will distribute one play booster pack per win to each participant!
